In Q2 2022, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Norway displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 1.2K at the beginning of April and peaking at 2.3K in mid-June. The app's active users also showed a consistent upward trend, growing from 8.1K in late March to approximately 11.3K by the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 482 and reaching a high of 1.3K in mid-June. Active users for the app showed resilience, maintaining a range of 21.5K to 24.7K throughout the quarter.

Yango — different from a taxi had relatively lower download numbers, starting from 386 in late March and recording a peak of 429 by the end of June. The app's active users fluctuated slightly, with a minimal decrease from 1.3K to around 1.1K over the quarter.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver observed modest download figures, beginning at 53 at the end of March and increasing to 98 by the end of June. Active users showed stability, hovering around 1.4K to 1.5K throughout the quarter.

Cabify had the lowest download and active user numbers among the top five. Downloads started at 37 in late March, peaking at 115 in mid-May, while active users ranged from 109 to 217 during the quarter.
